O Museu Marítimo de Ílhavo, como membro do grupo Salted Fish Museum, acolhe um dos seus workshop, onde serão apresentados e discutidos os avanços e perspetivas deste importante grupo de investigação, criado no âmbito de um projeto estimulado pelo governo norueguês, sobre história, memória e atualidade da indústria de bacalhau salgado.
Este evento decorre na Sala Polivalente do CIEMar-Ílhavo, e conta com a presença de especialistas mundiais, que gerará uma troca de conhecimentos entre várias realidades museológicas, bem como possibilita a visibilidade internacional que advém da cooperação entre os vários parceiros do arco geocultural escandinavo-Ibérico.
