Further to the decision to cancel the opening of the Museum Codfish Aquarium (scheduled for the 16th of December), consequence of the adverse weather conditions registered in the Centre and North of Portugal on the 14th of December, we present the new date for its opening:
Sunday, 13th January at 16h30
Record the fact that on the same day we celebrate the 115 years of the Restoration of the Municipality of Ílhavo.
The Museum Codfish Aquarium is an edification located in the grounds further north of the outside spaces of the former Preparatory School, current CIEMar-Ílhavo, which certainly represent a new element of attraction in the city of Ílhavo. Promoting tourism and local economy as well as complementing the the museum exhibition discourse, starting its new life of triple dimension: museum, aquarium and research, closing the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of MMI.
