Wooden box composed of several staves joined to the base by two wooden hoops that are fixed by means of iron staples. The wooden handle, produced in a single piece, moves on two axes, also in wood, that fit the top ring. The lid, as well as the base, were produced in a single piece of wood, of circular shape, and fixed on the staves by staples. The foquim, an integral part of the equipment of the Dori, accompanied the fisherman every day in the small fishing boat, and at the end of the day was arranged between the loca and the table in the crew's quarter.
