Anchored at the International Day of Museums celebrations, May 17-19, the Maritime Museum of Ílhavo reinforces its openness to the community and shows it is alive with a diverse program and two days of free entry. The celebration begins with the performance of Maria Gil, "Women on land, men at sea", based on testimonies of women from Ílhavo. The date will also be marked by the inauguration of a new temporary painting exhibition, "The Dream of the Sea", by Maria Gabriel (with edition of catalog), followed by the presentation of the monography "Santo André: Memories of a Ship". Also noteworthy, the concert "Soloists' Tide", a creation one hundred percent of musicians from Ílhavo.
